Nearly every business now uses the web to promote their facilities. Most concentrate on using basic text and still images, occasionally mixed in with Flash animation, to get their story across. However, the success of sites like You Tube, combined with advances in technology and Internet download speeds, has ensured that video promotion on the web is the next natural step.
Independent Web Marketing are producing cost effective short “TV quality” Video Promotions for businesses to display on their own web sites. These will enable Internet users from all over the world to get a feel for what your business does. Video gets the message over better than text and images and visitors to your site will be able to see what you do, how you do it and who you do it to!
Ideally, we would like to be able to visit you and produce your presentation for you from beginning to end, and have sufficient time with you to get to know you, to talk to you about what you want to get across and to generally understand and assess your set up first hand. Alternatively, we can create a video presentation from footage that you supply, or if you prefer, and if you have the technology to do it, you can even produce your own finished presentation and upload it yourself or send it to us to upload for you.
The finished promotion will be displayed as if it was an integral part of your own web site even if we do not manage or host your web site. We store all video presentations on our own specially adapted servers at www.iwmvideostorage.co.uk [which is a wholly owned subsidiary domain of IWM], so you do not incur additional bandwidth charges. We then provide your web designer/manager with code to insert into your own site which will make the finished promotion appear to be an integral part of your own site.
We charge £250 plus VAT for hosting and displaying a finished “professional” video advert for a business on the site for 12 months with unlimited bandwidth. This includes providing you with the necessary code to display it as if it was hosted on your own site. We will also display it on our site at www.web-marketing.co.uk, along with an overview of your business and a link to your web site.
If you need us to produce your video advert for you, costs start from £750 plus VAT for producing a 3 minute presentation from raw film footage that you supply, including script, voiceover and any other associated production time. If you need us to visit you and film the presentation for you too, the costs are naturally higher. However, this might not be too frightening as we endeavour to try film “batches” of businesses in the same geographical area within the UK which means that the cost of a day’s filming on location can be split between several businesses in a particular region.
