You can either use it as a website or intranet or both simply by setting up users, giving them roles and choosing which content you want them to be able to access with read or write access. The platform comes with e-commerce built in and ready to go. We find that an increasing number of businesses who started using it as an intranet now also use it for the website. In some cases they've done this by simply migrating content from their old website to the LightCMS platform, and once they've realised how easy it is to managed content on it compared to their old website platform, they've accelerated the process!
