Golf Unions
As with golf clubs, our involvement with the English Golf Union led us to providing objective advice and practical help to Unions affiliated to the EGU. We currently host, manage and/or advise the following:

The Lincolnshire Union of Golf Clubs was founded in 1900 and devotes its resources to the administration of amateur golf in Lincolnshire. Today their are 56 Clubs in the Union within the geographical area from the Humber in the North to the County Boundary in the South with a male playing membership of some 21,000. See www.lugc.co.uk.

The Midland Golf Union's chief aims are to further the interest of amateur golf in the Midlands, to assist and cooperate with the English Golf Union, to encourage and assist the Counties within the Union and to arrange meetings, competitions and matches. See www.midlandgolfunion.co.uk.

Durham County Golf Union's aims are to further the interests of amateur golfers and Golf Clubs in the former geographical County of Durham, to promote Golf Championships and Competitions, to arrange golf matches with other Counties and Associations and generally encourage the playing of golf in the County.
